DELWP has confirmed the landfill levy freeze. Below is a summary of changes with links to media releases and further information:
- No increase to fee amount at 1 July 2020, fee unit remains at $14.81, landfill levy at $65.90 as per State Government website see here
- Deferral of fee increase until 31 January 2021, increase of $20 to landfill levy to $85.90 as per State Government Media Release see here
- After the freeze, the levy will increase according to rates set out in The Recycling Victoria policy (page 29)
